The City Attorney's Office protects the legal interests of the City by providing legal counsel and representation to the City and its elected and appointed officials, departments, and commissions in all litigation and legal matters. The City Attorney is also responsible for negotiating collective bargaining contracts with the City's labor unions, drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other necessary documents. In addition to legal duties, the City Attorney also serves as the city's Human Resources Director. The City Attorney does not provide legal advice regarding private matters that involve City of Neenah citizens.
