211 Walnut St. Phone: 920/886-6125 Office Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Neenah's Department of Community Development and Assessments provides an array of services to the public, ranging from business development assistance, to housing and human service programs, to property assessments, to planning/zoning reviews and building permits/property inspections. The department offers assistance for businesses that are looking to relocate or expand their operations in Neenah. Services include technical support, development packaging, and financial incentives. The City-owned Southpark Industrial Center is also managed and marketed by the department. A number of housing programs are provided for those in need, ranging from first-time homebuyers assistance to home improvement loans to client referrals. Special programs offered to the elderly include the Dial-A-Ride reduced fare taxi program and the YMCA Senior Friends activity days. The Department of Community Development and Assessments also directs long-range planning projects for the City, maintains community profile data, and offers zoning and site plan review services. Assessment staff ensure that all parcels within the city are valued uniformly as market trends dictate. Inspection staff issue all needed building and mechanical permits, perform on-site inspections, and offer consultation on building and code-related questions. Chris A.
