Neenah Community Band

The purpose of the Neenah Community Band is to provide the opportunity for adult volunteer musicians to contribute their musical talents in performing a variety of music which serves the community at large and to enjoy the rewards of playing music with others. The band accepts all different skill levels. You must be at least fifteen years old to join. Practices are held at Horrace Mann Middle School on Tuesday evenings at 7:00PM If you would like to join, please attend a practice!

SUMMER CONCERTS AT RIVERSIDE PARK
All concerts are at 7:00PM with the exception of the July 4th concert, which is at 7:45PM.

TUESDAY, JUNE 8
Band Member Favorites
This concert will feature favorite songs of our band members.
Be sure to come hear the diverse selections they choose!

TUESDAY, JUNE 22
Walking the Red Carpet
Come hear songs from award winning musicals, movies and more! We'll feature selections from musicals touring to Appleton as well as those currently on Broadway. You certainly won't want to miss this concert if you love soundtracks!

SUNDAY, JULY 4
Communityfest
Join us for a patriotic evening of music at COMMUNITYFEST and stay for the fireworks!

TUESDAY, JULY 13
Sing, Sing, Sousa!
Come hear songs from the big band era as well as some famous marches by Sousa and others. This concert will certainly get your toes tapping!

TUESDAY, JULY 27
Children's Concert
Come see the clown, color the sidewalk, and hear the sounds of your favorite children's song. Kids will get the chance to come on stage to see their favorite instrument in action! Be sure to come early and bring the whole family for this concert.

Audience Favorites
We perform what YOU want to hear! Be sure to come to our summer concerts and vote for the songs you want to hear again! We'll perform the songs with the most votes on our final summer concert. Be sure to attend them all so your voice is heard!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 17
German Dance Band
This band is also known as The Happy Wanderers. Their toe tapping polka music is played at nursing homes and community picnics. They surely will put a smile on your face and the dance floor will be open.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 24
Ambassador Band
The Ambassador Dance Band is made possible by volunteer efforts of area musicians, all of whom share tehj oy of playing the Big Band sound that dominated popular music in the 30's to the 50's and lifting America's spirit during WWII. Quite simply it is the best dance music ever created.
