Seeking Applicants to Fill Vacant Alderperson Position in District 3

The City of Neenah is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy for an Alderperson in the 3rd District.  The new appointee will serve the remainder of the term to expire April 2022.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age;
  • A resident of the 3rd District;
  • Ability to attend weekly evening meetings; and
  • Must be available to conduct a brief presentation at the March 17th Common Council Meeting

 How to Apply:

 Interested residents from the 3rd District should complete the Application for Appointment and return it to the Clerk’s Office in City Hall.  Applications can also be picked up in person from the Clerk’s Office or completed online by following this link:

Applications must be received by noon on March 12, 2021.

Selected applicants will be required to attend the March 17th Common Council meeting at 7:00pm to provide a brief presentation to the Council highlighting their qualifications and interests in this role. The Council will evaluate the presentations and vote; after which, an appointment will be made, the appointee will be sworn in by the Clerk, and the appointee will attend the remainder of the meeting as a voting Council Member.
