Mulch, Wood Chips and Compost

The City of Neenah Street Department offers Mulch, Wood Chips and Compost for Neenah residents.  Please see below for more details on each product offered.

Mulch

Mulch that the city provides for residents is comprised of brush, yard waste, and wood that is collected throughout the city and ground down.  It is available at the Old City Garage (333 W Cecil Street.)  The cost of the mulch is $12 per yard.  Payment for the mulch is on the honor system.  The city will not load any trailer, truck bed, etc. with mulch.  Please come prepared to load yourself.

Mulch is also available for delivery for a fee.  For city residents the delivery fee is $15 for non-residents within a 5 miles radius the delivery fee is $25.  Delivery of mulch requires a 5 yard minimum order.

Wood Chips

Wood Chips that the city provides for residents is comprised of brush that is picked up curbside and from tree removals.  It is available at the Old City Garage (333 W Cecil Street). This is a self-serve option.  The city will not load any trailer, truck bed, etc. with wood chips.  Please come prepared to load yourself.

Residents may also request delivery of wood chips for a delivery fee.  For City of Neenah residents the delivery fee is $15.   Non-residents within a 5 miles radius, the delivery fee is $25.  Delivery of wood chips requires a 5 yard minimum order.

Compost

The compost that the city provides residents is comprised of the leaves that are collected in the fall.  The leaves are left to decompose and then are put through a sifter.  It is available at the Old City Garage (333 W Cecil Street.)  The cost of the compost is $12 per yard.  Payment for the compost at these locations is on the honor system.  The city will not load any trailer, truck bed, etc. with mulch.  Please come prepared to load yourself.
