Message from Mayor Kaufert
Due to the high level of interest and anticipated participation regarding proposed Ordinance 2021-08 creating an ordinance to create a temporary mask order within the City of Neenah due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we would like to remind those interested in attending in-person or virtually that there are two meetings set to take up and decide this matter. The first will be the Committee of the Whole of the Neenah Common Council at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is expected to last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. Once the Committee of the Whole is adjourned, a Special Meeting of the Common Council will begin immediately following that Committee of the Whole adjournment. The published times for the Committee of the Whole (6:00 p.m.) and Special Meeting of the Common Council (6:30 p.m.) are indeed the stated times, but in actuality, the Committee of the Whole is not expected to be done at 6:30 p.m. but rather much longer as discussions including public appearances are set to take place. As stated on the Special Meeting of the Common Council agenda, the Special Meeting of the Common Council will be held immediately following the Committee of the Whole. http://www.ci.neenah.wi.us/events/
