Downtown Parking

Welcome to the downtown parking page!  Here you will find information about how to locate just the right spot for your parking visit in downtown Neenah!

Did you know?  Downtown Neenah has free parking for customers and visitors!  In order to keep spaces available for our guests, downtown Neenah provides 2-hour, 3-hour, and 4-hour parking time limits.  The concept is simple: the further you park from the heart of the downtown, the more time you get.  On the fringes of the downtown, you’ll also be able to find unrestricted parking.  Checkout the map below to find the right location for you:

You can purchase a day pass to park in permit zones or to override a time limit.  Day passes are be $3/day for permit zones and $6/day for time limit zones.  Day passes are available online or at the Treasurer’s Office in City Hall at 211 Walnut Street, Neenah WI 54956.

At 4 PM, permit areas become available to the general public (located in brown in the map above) at no charge!  This includes the Green Parking Ramp.

Overnight parking (2 AM – 5 AM) is not permitted on any street downtown.  However, overnight parking is permitted in the Green Ramp and in the Blue Lot (see map above).  Additionally, overnight parking is also permitted in the other city parking lots downtown from April 1 through October 31 only.  If you do choose to park in a downtown city parking lot overnight, we highly recommend notifying the Neenah Police Department at 920-886-6000.

Weekends are a great time to visit downtown Neenah, because (unless specifically signed otherwise) time limits and permit restrictions are not in effect.

Full-time employees and residents are expected to purchase a downtown district permit. In some cases, permits may be provided by your landlord or place of work. Part-time employees may also purchase a downtown district permit. If you are looking for an alternative to purchasing a permit, unrestricted on-street parking is available a few blocks away (see map above).
