About Mayor Jane B Lang

Mayor Jane Lang, a proud Neenah native, has deep family roots in the community, dating back to 1848. A graduate of Neenah High School, she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a master’s degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois. Before becoming Neenah’s 46th mayor in April 2022, she served as Executive Director of the Neenah Historical Society for ten years and represented the 3rd District on the City Council for eight years. Mayor Lang is passionate about service in leadership and remains actively involved in several community organizations, including the Neenah Rotary Club, the Future Neenah Board, and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Board. Outside of her official duties, Mayor Lang enjoys spending time with her family, walking, reading, and traveling. Her leadership is rooted in a commitment to Neenah’s history, its people, and shaping a thriving future for all who call the city home.
