Here you will find information on parking regulations on the “In This Department” menu to the left and information regarding parking permits and citations below. We know busy schedules don’t always allow for time to stop in to renew your permits, pay citations, or appeal citations, so instead you can complete these tasks at your convenience online! Online payments can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or by eCheck. There are no transaction fees to make parking payments online.  Check out the details below:

Downtown Permits

Some locations in downtown Neenah are specifically signed for permit parking only.  Digital parking permits are required to park in these locations.

  • If you already have registered for a permit, click here to go to the parking portal.
For instructions on renewing/purchasing your permit, click here.

  • If you would like to register for a permit, click here.
Depending upon availability, you may be either placed on a waitlist or will be given access to the desired permit online.  Permit pricing is listed on the map when you click on a colored permit zone.

Resident Permits

Residential parking permits are free, annual permits available to residents where daytime parking restrictions exist, such as around schools, business districts, and regional parks. For general information regarding the Residential Parking Permit Program, including the list of eligible locations, click here. Please note that residential parking permits do not exempt a vehicle from overnight parking regulations.

Otherwise you may apply in person with a proof of residency (driver’s license, rental agreement, property tax bill, utility bill showing your street address) at:

Public Works Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall
211 Walnut Street
Neenah, WI 54956
M-Th 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
F 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

If you have received a parking ticket, you can make payments online in the parking portal by clicking here.  Unlike making an appeal or buying a permit, you do not need to create a portal account.  For help with navigating the portal, check out the citation guide by clicking here.

If you’re looking for information about the regulations and policies with issuing citations, click here.  If you are uncomfortable using the online portal, you can also make citation payments by mail, in person, or by dropbox at:

Treasurer’s Office, 1st Floor, City Hall
211 Walnut Street
Neenah, WI 54956
M-Th 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
F 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
*Note: The payment dropbox  (located at the drive-thru on the west side of the building) is available 24/7.

If you think there has been an error with a citation that was issued to your vehicle, you can appeal a citation online.  To prevent late payment charges, appeals need to be made within 10 days from the date the citation was issued.  You should receive the appeal decision within 4 business days.   Please remember that an appeal does not guarantee that your citation is voided and that you will be subject to the fine increases as stated on the parking ticket.  If you wish to contest the citation in court, you must complete an appeal and contact the Neenah Police Department directly (920-886-6017) to schedule a court date.

To get started with your appeal, create an account or log in by clicking here.  For help with navigating the portal, check out the guides below:
