Final pick-up of storm-related organic waste and construction materials begins on Monday, August 31, at 6:00 AM and will continue through the rest of the week. Please have your materials ready by August 31 at 6:00 AM, as crews will begin picking them up throughout the week until all storm-impacted areas have had one final pass. After Friday, September 4, you may be responsible for the removal of material from your property.
In addition to organic waste, storm debris may include loose materials such as:
- Siding
- Roof shingles
- Construction wood
- Fencing
- Other loose structural materials damaged by the storm
September city yard waste pickup will occur the following week, beginning Tuesday, September 8. Please place small yard waste materials, such as sticks and leaves, in brown biodegradable yard waste bags and place them curbside. The bags may also be brought to the Yard Waste Drop Off Site at 1495 Tullar Rd, Neenah, 54956. Residents will need to present their punch card to access the drop off site. Please note that city crews will NOT be picking up dirt piles or chipped wood piles. Those materials can be taken to the Winnebago County Solid Waste Facility at 105 W. County Rd Y, Oshkosh.
Please help your neighbors by keeping the gutters clear of yard waste. The City’s street sweepers are not able to clear those materials. Yard waste materials in the gutters may back up storm sewers. If you notice debris near the storm sewer inlets, please help us and your neighbors by clearing the inlet and bagging the debris.
