The mission of the Information Systems (IS) department is to provide standardized, strategic, secure, and state-of-the art information technology to advance the efficiency and delivery of government services to citizens.
The department is responsible for the coordination of systems development, implementation and operation of all city electronic information systems such as: office automation software, video surveillance environment, audio/video environment, email, VoIP and cellular telephony, custom applications, department specific software, and centralized servers. IS provides daily support of all these technologies for all internal city departments, along with the consolidated departments of Menasha – Neenah Municipal Court and Neenah – Menasha Fire Rescue on over 300 compute devices.
The department consists of the IS Director, two Programmer/Analysts, one Network Administrator, and one PC/Network Specialist.
