Beginning Tuesday, August 4, the City of Neenah will begin removing large tree debris from storm-impacted areas.
We have contracted with DTAK, the same company assisting the City of Menasha. Beginning tomorrow, you’ll notice large debris-removal trucks operating throughout Neenah.
Initial work areas include:
🌳 First Street, moving west to east, between Nicolet Boulevard and Forest Avenue
🌳 Congress Avenue and South Park Avenue, between Wisconsin Avenue and Cecil Street
As this work gets underway, there may be temporary street closures or delays while crews safely remove debris. If you encounter a closed street or work zone, please use an alternate route.
If you live within one of the work areas, you will still be able to access your home. We simply ask that you proceed slowly and use extra caution when entering or leaving your street, as heavy equipment and work crews will be present.
For everyone’s safety, the Wisconsin National Guard will be assisting with traffic control in active work zones.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue the recovery process. Together, we’re making steady progress toward restoring our community.
