Neenah Storm Damage Update

Posted:

The Neenah Police Department, along with the Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue Department, Department of Public Works, and our public safety partners, are actively responding to areas impacted by severe weather that moved through the City of Neenah this afternoon.   Emergency responders are currently assessing damage, addressing hazards, and responding to calls for service. The City’s first priority is the safety of our residents, visitors, and responding personnel.   Please DO NOT travel through storm affected areas unless absolutely necessary.   Residents are asked to:
  • Stay away from affected areas unless necessary.
  • Avoid downed power lines and treat all utility lines as energized.
  • Do not drive around barricades or enter areas closed by emergency personnel.
  • Limit non-emergency travel to allow first responders and utility crews access to impacted areas.
  • Call 911 for emergencies. Non-emergency issues should be reported through the appropriate non-emergency channels.
The City of Neenah asks the public to remain patient, avoid spreading unverified information on social media. More information regarding debris pickup, other storm related concerns, and ways that the community can assist will be forthcoming in the coming days. Please monitor official City of Neenah communications channels for further updates.
