Recreational Fire Permit Application
A recreational fire permit is required for recreational burning. The permit fee is $15. If you are applying for a permit, please read the Ordinance and Guidelines from the links below:
Recreational Fire Permit Ordinance
The fire permit is now processed online. Once the application and payment is complete the email confirmation is your new fire permit. A copy of the permit (printed or electronic) must be made available upon request of the Police or Fire Department.

Applying in Person
An application will be completed with a cashier in the Finance Department. A confirmation email will be sent, or printed if no email is provided. Debit card, cash or check accepted.
Applying by Mail
Complete the application and send it with payment to the address below. If no email address is listed, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope that we will use to return the confirmation page to you. Check or cash accepted, check preferred.

Your confirmation page will be emailed or mailed immediately upon receipt of a completed application and payment. Recreational Fire Permits must be on the premise before a fire can be started (printed or electronic).
Annual Pet License
Ordinance: Pet Owners Guidelines
Per city ordinance all dogs and cats over 5 months of age are required to be licensed in the City of Neenah. The fees are:
- $7.00 for altered (spayed/neutered) pets
- $12.00 for unaltered pets
- *$5.00 late fee will be imposed if the license is purchased after April 1st
You will need to bring a valid rabies certificate or no license will be issued.
