Bulk Water/Hydrant Use

Bulk Water

The sale of bulk water is available for construction, landscaping, tank filling, and/or other uses as approved by the Neenah Water Utility. Bulk water may be obtained from the water plant located at 234 S. Park Avenue, or drawn from a Utility owned fire hydrant.

Bulk Water from a Hydrant
To draw water from a hydrant, a Fire Hydrant Use Application & Agreement form shall be thoroughly completed and submitted to:

  • Neenah Water Utility Office:  on the 3rd floor of Neenah City Hall, 211 Walnut Street  or

Fire Hydrant Use Application & Agreement Form

The Neenah Water Utility requires all hydrant meters to be used with the Utility supplied back flow preventer. The hydrant to be used will be selected by the Neenah Water Utility at a location of mutual benefit to both the Applicant and the Utility. Hydrant backflow prevention will be supplied by the Utility with a ball valve lock. When the hydrant meter assembly is installed, the applicant will be provided with the four digit code to unlock the ball valve lock. It is the responsibility of the applicant to protect the hydrant and hydrant meter assembly from damage and or theft.

Bulk Water from the Water Plant
To draw water from the plant, the party interested shall provide billing and contact information (preferably a business card), prior to receiving water. Vessels to receive water shall have the capability to be filled from the top, via the Utility’s overhead supply. Other means of receiving bulk water from the plant will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, depending on appropriate backflow prevention measures available.

All bulk water and necessary fees, will be billed based on the Neenah Water Utility’s current Rate File.
