The Neenah Police Department prides itself on maintaining a high level of training for all of our officers. The State of Wisconsin standard is set at 24 hours of training per year. In 2020, Neenah Police Department officers averaged 68.2 hours of training.

To help maintain our high training standards and levels, our officers and personnel are given the opportunity to become certified instructors in various disciplines. The Neenah Police Department currently has 10 trainers who regularly instruct their fellow officers during in-house training sessions and assist our community partners to keep Neenah safe.
